The Paul Cox and his band opened the "Mini Festival of Blues" held in mountains above the Italian town of Valdagno, which is located in northern Italy 70kl north of Verona.
A large enthusiastic crowed attended the concert which was held in the open air in the grounds of the Padis Club who's owner Stefano Derserti organised the event. In addition to Paul, band regulars Steve James played drums, Mike Summerland was on Bass for the concert (he normally plays Guitar in the Paul Cox Band), Lead Guitar was ably handled by Agostino Carbognin (Tino), the band was augmented by Daniele Piva - Keyboard, Stefano Urbani - Harmonica, there was a special guest appearance by Gigi Sella - Saxophone. The Friday night was acoustic show at which Mike & Tino played Guitar and Steve James playing both Guitar and Piano. Paul sang a selection of Rock, Blues and Soul numbers.
